Sleepy Nico's 5th Birthday Competition

Posted on June 05, 2017 | 20 Comments

I spend a lot of my time driving around the beautiful Suffolk countryside, so when I saw this stunning fabric I had to have it for a baby carrier. Cow parsley lines every lane and track I find myself on and I feel incredibly blessed to live somewhere so scenic.

I would call this carrier ‘summer daze’. It reminds me of lazy walks, the peace of the British country side, the warm sunshine on my skin and the sweet scent of elderflower and wild flowers like cow parsley that grows in abundance in the hedgerows. Bliss!!

I think it should be called ‘meadow silver’ (or ‘meadow star’). Beautiful image, with a hint to its latin name: Anthriscus sylvestris

I noticed you have chosen names for your previous carriers, my daughter who is due to be born on the 17th of June will be named “Freya Olivia” which I think really suits this carrier
I also think “in the meadows” sounds lovely to and suits it very well.
It’s a beautiful carrier.
